Nibbling at November

As November approaches please keep in mind that the weather is changing. In the morning it can be very chilly; therefore, I recommend dressing the children in layers so that they can remove clothing as the day warms up. Over the past several years we have found this to work the best, as well as, making sure the children wear socks and comfortable shoes.

As always, October Is an extremely busy time of the year for us! This year we have been very lucky to have such a wonderful helping hand from Ms. Barbara. So here is what we have been up to for October…

  • Pumpkin carving
  •                                         Tasting Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
  •                                          Nibbling on our Pomegranates
  •                                                      Leaf collections
  •                                             Tending to our greenhouse

We have had a positive response with the children’s communication skills. We have been working hard at teaching the children courtesy and how to show it to each other. This is not an easy task, but once learned it is a lesson never forgotten and frequently used.
